Looking back at Summer and forward to Fall

So much for the lazy days of summer. Usually a quieter time at the winery this summer was anything but. Maybe there were more events in which to participate, maybe Paso is getting more publicity and our wines the recognitioin they deserve. Whatever the reason we were grateful. Tired and grateful. Always glad to meet new people, visit with old friends and promote Dubost wines.

Orange County Fair
One of the best places to do that, for sure, is the Orange County Fair. We love being part of the Featured Winery Program and sharing our winning wines from the Orange County Wine Society. The society provides scholarships to college students studying viticulture, enology, and other wine related topics.

Paso Robles History Museum - Evening of History & Wine

The Paso Robles History Museum in the city park is one of the few remaining original Carnegie Libraries. It was the library for my children. Now it is repurposed as a tribute to the history of Paso Robles. We were honored to present both past and present with Dubost family history and Dubost wines. Rotary Winemakers Cook-Off 

This event raised over $90,ooo this year for educational scholarships. We were proud to be one of the 30 participating wineries. We poured some of our favorite wines and served:

• Homemade Egg Rolls
• Fried Squash Blossoms
• Shrimp Remoulade
• Cold Peach & Cardamon Soup 

Thanks to all who fried, cooked, plated, poured wine and cleaned up at the end. You know who you are and we appreciate you. Award: 3rd Place Judge's choice for amateur chefs.
