2021 Gran Reserva
Fall 2024 Country Club Release
The vineyards represented in this trio are some of the best Adelaida has to offer in our decidedly biased opinion. We think you will agree when you “Taste the Terroir” exhibited in these three beauties.
Worth Hill Vineyard. Thirty acres of head-trained/dry-farmed fruit located on Dubost property on Adelaida Road. The first phase was planted in 2006 by our son and owner, Ted Dubost. Worth Hill was named by old timers for the steep hill from the Adelaida Cemetery to the top of Ted’s vineyard. Old timers taught him the art of dry farming in the Adelaida. The proof of his love and care is in the bottle. All three new wines are comprised in part or in full of fruit from Worth Hill; Zinfandel and Petite Sirah.
Glenrose Vineyard. Established in 1994, Glenrose represents some of the oldest plantings of Rhone varietals on the west side of Paso Robles. One of the only terraced vineyards in the area, it sits at an elevation of 1500’-1700’. The vines are planted on extremely chalky, high pH soils, which combined with great rootstock and clonal selections, produce mineral driven, aromatic fruit; Syrah, Grenache and Touriga Nacional.
We feel there are no better credentials than these for top quality grapes. So we present a stellar trio of reds from Adelaida fruit crafted by winemaker and blending genius, Zachary Raines. This is a release for the records. Can’t wait for you to experience it.
Cheers,
Kate
