2015 Estate Cuvee

A smaller blend consisting of all Estate fruit from our humble 5 acre vineyard. With small margins guaranteed to keep yields down, the fruit of the our ranch continues to offer quality full body wines with exceptional flavor. With the inclusion of the small amounts of Tempranillo and Zinfandel we produce, we have crafted a slightly different wine than past vintages. Still a very serious deep wine it is slightly light- ened up by the Zin and Temp inclusion yet adding additional depth and acidity and another dimension to this estate blend. Flavors and aromas range from new leather, smoked meat, orange rind, current and dusty earth. A little tight and tannic now, we recommend decanting this wine to show its best character but with sufficient acidity and tannin it will age well into 2025.
